• Organizing and managing assembly files
• Saving each component of an assembly separately for programming
2. Mastercam Design
•Working with surfaces to define machining regions
• Advanced stock creation techniques using Boolean function
• Tailstock design and configuration for more complex setups
3. Job Setup
• Correct machine setup in Mastercam for both lathe and milling operations
• Lathe to mill setup for specific job
• Tailstock setup for lathe programming
• Tool settings, configuration, and stock setup

4. 4-Axis Lathe programming
• Working with Canned cycles and live tooling
• Creating and defining 3D tools for lathe operations
• Applying live tooling lathe operations (Lathe license only)

5. Mill-turn Environment
• Setting up and interfacing with the mill-turn environment in Mastercam
• Simulating the mill-turn environment for accurate programming and setup
• Understanding the unique features the mill-turn environment has and applying those features
6. 4-axis Milling
• Setting up a 4-axis mill for complex part programming
• Programming strategies for 4-axis milling operations
•Understanding indexing vs. simultaneous toolpath strategies
•Programming 2D, 3D and Multi axis toolpaths for 4-axis machines
7. 5 Axis milling
• Setting up a 5-axis mill and understanding its unique capabilities
• Programming strategies for 5-axis milling operations

• Advanced 2D, 3D and multi-axis toolpath strategies for 5-axis machines
5 days Training Course (08:00am – 16:00pm)

Prerequisites:
• Completion of the Mastercam Essentials Course
• Advanced machine knowledge (4-axis Lathe with C&Y Axes, 4-Axis Mill, 5-Axis Mill)
• Tooling knowledge
Recommendation:
• Review work completed in the essentials course, particularly in 2D and 3D milling
• Understand the operations of live tooling lathes, 4 and 5 axis mills
