SOLIDWORKS CAM course covers the basics of using the software to create toolpaths and generate CNC code for machining parts. The course cover topics such as:
- Introduction to SOLIDWORKS CAM,
- Setting up a machining project,
- Creating and modifying toolpaths,
- Using automatic feature recognition,
- Optimizing toolpaths for efficiency and accuracy,
- Generating CNC code, and,
- Post-processing and simulation.

Skill Prerequisites
- Mechanical design experience.
- Completed the SOLIDWORKS Essentials course.
- Experience with the Windows® operating system.
- Fundamental knowledge of plastic materials. plastic part design and/or injection mold design.
